Initial Consultation Process

Begin your journey towards healing with a free, 20-minute consultation on Zoom or by phone. Share your reasons for seeking counselling, and let’s explore if we’re a good fit. If we’re aligned, we’ll schedule your first session, either online or in person.

COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY

When you choose to work with me in counselling and psychotherapy, you’re entering a nurturing and confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life’s intricate challenges. This collaborative journey aims to bring about fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of yourself, fostering greater self-awareness. Imagine it as building a bridge; we’ll navigate from your current state to where you aspire to be, with me as your companion.

My approach is integrative, drawing from various therapeutic methods to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. This may include working creatively with worksheets, images, and even stones as they often help when the words don’t come easily, giving us both a subconscious insight into how things may or may not be working out.

 

Everything we discuss is confidential with some minor exceptions that will be discussed at our first meeting.  This is YOUR safe space.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular monthly supervision.
