** PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD *** Thursday 2nd April will be a day for me to give therapy sessions for *donations only* in response to COVID-19 discussions, anxieties you may be experiencing etc. Sessions will last 30 minutes, pay what you can afford. These are designed as a simple offload for you. They will be carried out via video link – either facetime or zoom. Please get in touch if you would like this. The understanding would be that the donation would need to be paid by paypal prior to the session so that I can ensure your time and space is saved for you and I will send you a paypal link on booking. In line with Government regulations with regards to COVID-19, all sessions will be carried out via video link unless there are exceptional circumstances that will be discussed prior to your appointment.
When it comes to strict measures such as those applied during these unprecedented times, it’s important to adhere to these as far as is humanly possible but like everything there are always exceptions and emergencies. I am unable to comment on potential human greed, stockpiling and the like because I don’t know absolutely how people are thinking. What is perhaps true is that there is a lot of fear going around, probably justified.
Yet still there are those who believe it won’t happen to them or it’s a case of survival of the fittest. The point is that *we don’t know* what exactly will happen, we only know what is happening right NOW and for those in government, there is a need to protect the people – young, old, vulnerable, resilient.
There may be untruths being banded about, or “fake news”, people sharing things left right and centre that may not even be accurate. I find that situation far more worrying. The point is that people are dying from the virus, others are asymptomatic and may be carriers of the virus, yet others may be suffering from the virus but we won’t actually know because testing is not being carried out.
Therefore it is quite simple. Stick to the guidelines given as far as is humanly possible. Wash your hands often, keep your hands away from your mouth, keep a minimum of 2 metres distance from others, stay away from all social gatherings. Heed the advice so that we have a future.

My therapy is unique to you. I am an “integrative therapist” trained in Counselling, Psychotherapy, NLP, Hypnotherapy, BWRT and EFT.
My aim is to help you to help yourself draw on your inner strengths. We all hold tools within us for positive change through effective support. It is also my belief that for the most part, as human beings, we seek connection and comfort from our wider social sphere and if this is absent, we may suffer emotionally and mentally. You only need to take a look at mental health news to see that anxiety and depression are climbing upwards as we attempt to rely on ourselves as separate individuals.
I qualified with a psychology degree with the Open University in 2006, supplementing this with counselling and psychotherapy training, followed by hypnotherapy in 2013, and have worked in placements and private practice since 2008.
Prior to studying psychology, I worked in PA / Office Manager roles, supporting Managing Director(s) of multi national companies in commercial enterprises. I have always held a strong interest in people and the patterns of human processes. Our well-being is important for survival and given effective support, we can find find tools within for change.
Fees are currently £50 per individual session
Fees for couples are £60 per session.
I also work via Skype, Zoom or Vsee video conferencing. It may be possible to do Walking Therapy where we do an hour’s circular walk.
